Highland and Islands businesses celebrate success

Hebridean Seaweed Company was recently recognised for business excellence at SCDI’s Highlands and Islands Annual Dinner and Business Excellence Awards.

This year’s event was held at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness where 350 guests from across the region attended the dinner and awards ceremony, where some of the region’s most innovative and forward-thinking companies were presented with awards by the Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, Stewart Stevenson MSP.

SEPA’s Andy Rosie, Head of Operations North said:

“This is a very good example of a company working in harmony with its surroundings, while bringing much needed business and employment opportunities to Hebridean Island communities.
